Philadelphia, PA - The DeNicola Family Foundation recent pledge has created the COPD and Emphysema Research Fund at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. The fund will provide for the expansion of COPD & Emphysema research within the department of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery. With the gift, Temple will continue to provide an exceptional education to compassionate, motivated and service minded medical students, boldly purse research that will transform standards of care and continue to support and engage with the North Philadelphia community.
