Philadelphia, PA — The DeNicola Family Foundation proudly partnered with the Today Is a Good Day Foundation to support families spending Thanksgiving in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) across the region. As part of this meaningful initiative, 500 fully prepared turkey dinners—generously created by The Fresh Market—were delivered to 22 NICUs across six states.
On the day of the distribution, the DeNicola Family Foundation team personally delivered 20 meals to Capital Health in New Jersey, ensuring families with babies in the NICU could enjoy a comforting and hot holiday meal despite spending the holiday in the hospital.
“This initiative reflects the heart of our mission—showing up for families during their most vulnerable moments,” said Natalie Sadler, Program Director of the DeNicola Family Foundation. “No parent plans to spend Thanksgiving in the NICU, and we’re honored to help bring just a little warmth and comfort to their day.”
Morgan DeNicola, Executive Director of the DeNicola Family Foundation, added, “Supporting NICU families is deeply important to us. We are grateful to partner with Today Is a Good Day and humbled by the dedication of NICU staff who care for these babies every single day. This collaboration reminds us of the power of community, compassion, and coming together during the holiday season.”
The DeNicola Family Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to Today Is a Good Day and The Fresh Market in Chestnut Hill for their partnership in making this effort possible.
