Students Liam Sebright, James Sebright, and Hobie Sebright of Ancillae Assumpta Academy were honored with the DeNicola Bright Light Award, presented by the DeNicola Family Foundation.
The DeNicola Bright Light Award recognizes young people who are committed to community service through meaningful volunteer efforts. Created to honor young leaders who serve as role models, the award celebrates those who inspire others through their kindness, dedication, and willingness to give back.
For the past five years, the Sebright brothers have been collecting backpacks and filling them with hygiene kits for individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. Their consistent compassion and hands-on commitment have made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
Each brother received a commemorative plaque along with a donation to further support their backpack drive.
“We are incredibly proud to celebrate these young leaders who prove that kindness, resilience, and generosity can make a powerful impact at any age,” said Morgan DeNicola, Executive Director of the DeNicola Family Foundation.
