On behalf of the Jane and Leonard Korman Respiratory Institute (KRI) at Jefferson Health, we want to thank the DeNicola Family Foundation for their generous gift to enhance pharmacy support for our pulmonary patients. We deeply appreciate their kindness and commitment to Jefferson’s pulmonary care.

We value their creativity and steadfast approach to finding a meaningful way for philanthropy to make a significant impact. Their gift allows our pharmacists additional time and resources to work with the individual needs of patients and help address the challenges that come with complex chronic disease. Furthermore, additional pharmacy touch points can help us put people first by improving quality of life and care. We are thrilled that this gift will help approximately 600 patients over the next year.

“Our pharmacists are an integral part of the pulmonary care team, assisting with patients’ understanding of their complex healthcare needs. This additional support will decrease out-of-pocket costs, improve the patient experience, and ultimately, enhance their health outcomes. Said Gregory C. Kane, MD, MACP The Jane and Leonard Korman Professor and Chairman Department of Medicine.”
