We do this through our programs with the U.S. Congress and the United Nations, engaging young people, supporting cultural and sports diplomacy, and working on humanitarian programs. HDI employs cultural programming, including culinary diplomacy, to promote dialogue. We collaborate with U.S. Embassies and Consulates to share American culture and values worldwide.
Phoenix AZ - The 36th annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party took place in Arizona on Saturday February 11, 2023, at The Salt River Fields iconic Spring Training Stadium. For the past 8 years the Steinberg Superbowl Party celebrates the best in sports, by honoring athletes, owners, coaches, and executives with the Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Award. Since today they have honored 60 awardees. The Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Award was started so they can recognize all the people in Sports who are making the world a better place.
PHOENIX, AZ - Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHC-CNAZ) welcomed children’s author Marnie Schneider & Cosmo DeNicola for a Super Bowl Luncheon. Schneider is the granddaughter of former Eagles Owner Leonard Tose, who was also co-founder of the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. The luncheon took place at the organization’s Roanoke location in Central Phoenix and RMHC-CNAZ families and staff attended the celebration.

Cosmo Cares partnered with St John Vianney Parish to provide items for babies and young mothers from the Sisters of Life. The Cosmo Cares team bought baby bottles, carriers, clothes, diaper genies, brushes, combs, bath towels, washcloths, and burp clothes too donate to the women in need.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., we’re celebrating MLK Service Day by donating Birthday Bags for the Love Works Resource Center in King of Prussia, PA. The bags will be given to the Love Works Food Pantry families who have a child’s birthday coming up. The Birthday Bags were filled with cake mix, icing, happy birthday banner, candles, plates, napkins, balloons, a Birthday card, an activity book, and colored pencils. Make today a day of service. Everyone can be great bc everyone can serve.
Cosmo Cares teamed up with Chase Books at Belmont Charter School for a buddy reading program and book giveaway. The 7th graders spent time helping the 1st graders to read “Chase and the Case of the Missing Jersey” by Cousin John. Having access to bools is key for growth and so is being a role model for the young generations.
