The Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Awards presented at the 38th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party was in New Orleans this year, and everyone was jazzed. The party and the award presentation were on Saturday February 7th at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
The Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Awards honor NFL players, coaches, owners and executives who give back and make a positive impact in their communities. The awards started in 2015, and there has been 77 recipients.
This year’s recipients were New Orleans Saints Owner, Gayle Benson, Denver Broncos Head Coach Sean Payton, President of the Las Vegas Raiders, Sandra Douglass Morgan, Former New Orleans Saints QB, Drew Brees, Cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens Nate Wiggins, Green Bay Packers Legend Brett Favre and President of the National Urban League, Marc H. Morial.
