Barwin will be honored on Friday March 10th, 2017 during the Maxwell Football Club Gala at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

HOUSTON –Houston set the stage for the NFL’s 51-year Super Bowl anniversary and the 30th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party which kicked off at noon on Saturday, Feb. 4th. The party provided a star-studded backdrop for the second annual Steinberg-DeNicola Humanitarian Awards, honoring members of the NFL family for outstanding contributions to their communities and their fellow man. The event was held at the Hughes Manor in downtown Houston, with 4,500 in attendance. Described as “the granddaddy of Super Bowl parties,” Steinberg’s invitation-only charity bash attracts luminaries from the worlds of sports, business, media and entertainment, including Hall of Famers, movie stars, CEOs and politicians.

Cosmo DeNicola  Companies rolled out the all new Cosmo Pizza at Goombas Pizzaria in Colmar, PA on Saturday January 28th. Attendees were asked to contribute to a great cause, and by doing so were rewarded with a tasty sample of the Cosmo Pizza and a coupon for a free Pizza. Joining the celebration were world champion Philadelphia Soul Players LaRico Stevenson, Darius Reynolds and Sean Daniels; Philadelphia Soul mascot Soulman also made a guest appearance and entertained the families and Children with his spirited antics. Keeping with the Football Theme, former Philadelphia Eagles General Manager Jimmy Murray greeted all guests in attendance with amazing stories of previous Philadelphia Eagles owners, players and team history.

Soul Honors Paralyzed Military Veteran

PHILADELPHIA-- Army Sergeant Dan Rose can walk, which is something he thought would never happen again after a fateful battlefield reality violently changed Dan’s life on April 27, 2011.  On that date, Rose was serving in Afghanistan and his platoon was performing “route clearance”.  It was during one of these daily missions that his truck was hit with 1,000 pounds of explosives. The heavily armored Humvee; blown apart into two pieces, unbelievably left all the occupants alive, however Rose was left paralyzed from the chest down.

Nora Skelly, External Relations Associate at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) regional office in Washington, DC, spoke to a crowd of 140 students at Muhlenberg College on October 30, focusing on the crisis of record numbers of unaccompanied minors at the US-Mexican border. The lecture, entitled "Protecting Syrian Refugees and Beyond: The Work of UNHCR", is part of an initiative at Muhlenberg College to bring more international programming to its campus through the Humpty Dumpty Institute’s Higher Education Alliance.
